Activity description To promote diversity and cultural competence in health care providers, help decrease barriers and achieve the goal of trust and successful communication in end-of-life care in interracial settings, an assessment of patients' values, beliefs and preferences are needed. This activity will identify disparities and discuss barriers preventing underrepresented diverse groups from access to hospice and end-of-life care and explore ways to provide equitable care to all diverse groups at the end of life.

It will describe how to safely identify and provide safe interventional strategies for children and transitional-aged youth who are being trafficked.
