Movement Disorders (On Demand)
Activity description
These materials are only intended for those that have watched the materials from the live residency lecture held on November 9, 2023.
This program is a series of monthly lectures, pertinent to primary care for new graduate advanced practitioners. The goal of this series is to provide an introduction to specific diagnoses, work ups and specialty content as it relates to primary care.
Movement disorders are among commonly encountered neurologic disorders in the general population and are some of the most challenging diseases to diagnose and treat. To assist primary care clinicians in the recognition and appropriate initial management of movement disorders, this activity will discuss presenting features and initial management strategies for the most common movement disorders to aid in promoting enhanced quality of care and quality of life for patients.
