These materials are only intended for those that have read the following newsletter: ReadyMED Medical Update, January 2023.
This activity will focus on medical updates within the practice of urgency medicine, including the latest recommendations from medical specialties that are relevant to urgent care practice needs. Participants will be provided with an overview of current best practices and guideline updates for urgent care to increase provider competency and awareness in all aspects of practice.

Target Audience
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, nurse practitioners, and PAs who have an interest in updating their knowledge of current standards and practices in the field of urgency medicine.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Discuss the latest updates on a variety of urgency medicine topics.
- Identify strategies to integrate these updates into current practices at their urgent care or primary care clinics.
- Share learned knowledge of these practices and changing guidelines in urgency medicine with their health care team members.

The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) accepts credit from organizations accredited by the ACCME.
Nurses
The participant will be awarded up to 2.00 contact hour(s) of credit for attendance and completion of supplemental materials.
Nurse practitioners
The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program (AANPCP) accepts credit from organizations accredited by the ACCME and ANCC.
Attendance
A certificate of attendance will be provided to learners upon completion of activity requirements, enabling participants to register with licensing boards or associations that have not been pre-approved for credits. To apply for credit types not listed above, participants should use the procedure established by the specific organization with which they wish to obtain credit.
