AI for Clinicians
Activity description
The use of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) in health care is growing exponentially as the health system generates more data and increases its utilization of telemedicine. The incorporation of AI/ML presents providers, payers, pharmaceutical and biotechnology professionals and many other health care providers (HCPs) with multiple opportunities to use this data to advance improved health outcomes, a cohesive approach to care and improved health system processes.
This activity presents experts who can guide learners in practices that can realize the opportunities presented by AI/ML and gathers input from practitioners and leaders across UnitedHealth Group. Participants will learn about important operations that are invisible to everyday workflow, as well as patient- and member-facing solutions. The cases presented will enable learners to identify AI opportunities within their clinical processes and determine how best to create and incorporate teams that can help realize AI/ML-related improvements in care and health care system processes.
