How to Build Inclusive, Psychologically Safe and Accountable Peer Communities
ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
It is not easy to cultivate an environment open to expressing feedback, sharing uncertainty or asking for help. Developing psychological safety is critical to promoting conversation, inclusion and accountability. But psychological safety does not just happen; it takes thoughtful planning and meeting design to ensure that diverse voices and unique perspectives are welcomed. Only when people feel safe enough to hear each other and move in the direction of growth will meaningful and authentic peer relationships grow. This session explores how meeting design and "setting the table" can yield powerful results for new and existing teams.
