Activity description
In this activity, we discuss DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria related to various substance use disorders (SUDs). Appropriate SUD screening can help individuals obtain necessary diagnostic and treatment services. It is key to understand that the DSM-5-TR criteria used to diagnose psychological dependence does not apply when the dependence is exclusively a physical dependence.
