Coronary Artery Disease: Prevention, Complications and Management

CAD can have a devastating impact on the quality of life of individuals. An effective multidisciplinary team approach for optimal management of CAD is needed. This presentation will review the relationship of the team members and their impact on CAD through screening, diagnosing, treatment, pharmaceutical management, and prevention of readmission. The relationship between physical and mental health and its potential impact will be reviewed and, through the use of case study examples, optimal clinical management strategies for CAD will be explored.
