Target Audience
This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of nurses and other health care professionals (HCPs) who are interested in learning about diabetic polyneuropathy.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe polyneuropathy, neuropathy, and peripheral neuropathy.
- Discuss diabetic polyneuropathy and the associated symptoms.
- State the risk factors for developing polyneuropathy.
- Explore available treatments for neuropathies.
- Realize the prognosis and implications of no intervention for neuropathies.
