Activity Description:

Improved awareness of the mental health status of the population has become essential in the present climate, as a growing number of patients are confronted with the complexity of managing their mental health in the face of increased external stressors. The purpose of this monthly educational series is to educate providers on current and relevant behavioral health practices for mental health disorders and their management, with a focus on the impact of these stressors. It will provide a closer examination of the challenges specific to women, children, and members of the LGBTQ population, and will discuss how to best support and care for affected individuals. In addition, the importance of improved healthcare coordination surrounding these issues will be examined.
