Target Audience

This activity is designed to meet the educational needs of nurses, social workers and other health care professionals (HCPs) who are interested in learning about bronchopulmonary dysplasia, retinopathy of prematurity

Learning Objectives

At the end of this educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize disease processes of Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia and Retinopathy of Prematurity.
  • Identify the course and duration of Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia and Retinopathy of Prematurity.
  • Provide education and information to guide caregivers on follow up care after discharge from the hospital and when to seek the appropriate medical specialists.
  • Offer recommendations for supportive services.
